Comments:
I operated from the Brainerd QTH. Dan, K0TI has whipped up some wires and I was
trying them out this weekend. We got the Inv-L going, so played with that a bit
on 160 as well (non contest of course).
This is really a contest you need to operate with a good shot at EU or just DX.
Hopefully the bands cooperate better someday.
The counter said I spent 14 hrs on this, but I really doubt that. I would work
what I could, call CQ a bit. When it got slow or just no one answering, I'd
quite for a while and try later. So lots of starts and stops. Plus there were
other things to do here.
The antennas performed quite well as Dan found on SS CW.
