Comments:
The severe "ghost signal" QSB mentioned in K0EU's write up was rampant
here as well, on all bands except one... 15 meters.
Did the first 90 minutes there, and since the rates there were comparable with
20M on Sunday, spent most of the morning there and then some... Lots of loud,
crisp signals on that band with a surprisingly high percentage coming from
W1/2/3. Worked a very loud VO1KVT five minutes after his sunset, thanks for
calling in with my final mult. Never heard KP2.
Got a lot of other "very loud" comments as well... hmmm.
The antenna on 15 meters?
2 element Yagi @ 30 feet.
Go figure ;-)
