Comments:
I am finally on the air from the indoor ham shack in my new QTH - no more
portable ops for the foreseeable future. I recently installed a true compromise
antenna - an 8 foot tall Maldol HVU-8 in my garage attic. N5DX wins the
'biggest signal' award by a landslide - Kevin was really loud on both 40 and 80,
which is saying something when the receiving antenna is but a fraction (3%, 6%)
of a wavelength.
