Comments:

Starting in 2015 when I returned to radio & contesting in a big way I've
been no better than 2.4 meg. I set a goal of 3 meg for this contest and knew it
would take some extra effort. I thought with the addition of a triplexer for
ARRL DX in 2021 that I might be able to increase my scores but we only got a
glimpse of improved propagation in 2020 CQWW. The triplexer never really got a
workout until this contest. I wasn't doing any dual CQ with so2r other than
this year's cwts but thought that just being able to s&p while running
between 15 & 20 mtrs that I might be able to make additional Q's. In ARRL
DX the condx on 15mtrs never woke up and I only made a handful of extra contacts
on 15 while running on 20 but the seed was planted.

As you know for CQWW phone last month 15 was hot and I hoped we would repeat
those fabulous conditions. I don't do so2r on ssb. I had a ton of fun in this
test on the high bands by having two bands to choose from at all times and did
make some Q's while running but mostly just on Sunday. I managed to stay
running on 15 even though the rate wasn't that great I was able to fill in some
Q's with 20 mtrs to justify running on a less than optimum band by keeping the
rate acceptable.

I also got to play with the new K4 and I'm still getting used to operating with
it. I need more contests to play in to give this radio a report card. My
initial impression is I prefer running with the K3 for now and have to do more
work with the new toy.
