Comments:
I wanted to use a new setup in the shack for this contest, but it was giving me
some grief. I took an early 1 hour break to calm down, had a beer and then
decided to take it easy for the rest of the contest. I took longer breaks both
nights and also Saturday evening. I tried to use it more as a learning
opportunity and understand what is working well and what not.
But I also felt physically tired and did not have a drive to put in a more
serious effort. I guess this is what aging does. I hope I will make a better
effort next year.
The conditions looked similar to last year, except that 10 was slightly better
last year. No EU runs on 10 this time. I believe my money bands are 80 and 15.
It was interesting that on 20 a low tribander was working better towards Europe
during the day than the high stack.
