Comments:

We ran a father (Larry, KF6NCX) and son (Jevon, KE6YLH) multi-single operation
from the KF6NCX station in Chico, CA. We had a good time, operating for 17
hours. We would have done more, but we took time out both days to make an
antenna for next weekend's 160-meter contest.

In the first couple of hours of the contest, late Friday afternoon, we heard and
worked quite a few JAs on 15 and 20 meters. A little later we found 40 meters
open to Europe for a while. Both Saturday and Sunday mornings, we enjoyed
working many European stations on 20 meters.

We had fun working contesters in such places as Canary Islands, China, South
America, the Caribbean, New Zealand, Australia and Madeira.

We took turns operating and logging. Our rig was a Yaesu FT-450D with a KPA500
amplifier and an end-fed 130-foot wire antenna up 50 feet at the apex. We used a
Begali paddle.

Thanks for the Qs and 73 from Jevon and Larry.
