Just trying to have some fun. First 12 hours were OK. No great rates, but not
bad. Day 2, I got on at 0000z and things were kinda punk. Maintained 60 hours,
but probably had to ask for repeats on 80% of the QSOs (noise & weak
signals). I stopped after about 2 hours and got back on at 0400z. No better so
after 30 Qs, I quit. It was definitely not fun (my goal).
While CQing on 3553 or so, was happy to have 19 of the 20 DX mults call me. For
my crappy antenna, that's pretty good. Inverted L, 70 feet up then the rest
sloping back towards the ground. One (1) elevated counterpoise. No listening
antenna.
