Comments:
Finally got a 40' tower up at sunset Sat. to support an inv. L, then had to set
up the station. Originally was going to enter SOULP but decided to go whole-hog.
Set the radio/amp on a patio table Field-day style so was exposed to the
overnight desert cold. I finally quit at 0330 when I couldn't feel my toes any
longer. The inv L worked very well but had rhythmic QRN that made weak signal
copy difficult. Got in a little over 8-1/2 hours.
