Comments:
Well, that was an adventure. Usually only need to change a software connector
setting or two on my IC-7610 in order to use the USB interface to WSJT-X.
However, couldn't get it to work Saturday at the start of the contest. Audio
from the transceiver was getting to the computer, but the 7610 was still using
the microphone input. Gave up after an hour.
Sunday morning, decided to set up my Flex 6600M to use with WSJT-X, having never
done so. Different computer, different transceiver and after another hour
managed to get everything to work. Ended up with about an hour of operating time
before I had to leave, but 15m seemed good.
Rig: Flex 6600M - 100 watts
Antenna: Optibeam OB16-3 at 50 ft fixed SE
Software: WSJT-X (barefoot)
