Comments:

10 years ago the legendary Carl Cook (AI6V/P49V) & XYL were visiting us for
the ARRL 10 m contest. We got him the ZM2V contest call and he operated Mixed HP
finishing "First Place DX" from here.
This year conditions were extremely poor with a clear declining trend since WWDX
SSB. I checked the band every few hours. 3 hops were possible on day one. Just
enough to work some AS/OC. Al lot of the DU/YB/BY stations were reasonable loud
but must have a massive noise floor at their end. Day two showed signs of life
and NA came out of the noise (4-5 hops) for short periods of time. The skips
were extremely patchy and moving around. Lots of 3/4's (PA. MD, DE, NC, VA, FL,
TN, KY) and 8/9/0's (CO, MN, IL, ND. OH, WI). Nothing heard from #5 area, only a
single CA station was logged and very few 7's. No SA or EU heard or worked here.
PJ2T was the only station worked from Central America.
24 QSO (3 x NA) were made in SSB.

Thanks to those who managed to dig my call out of the noise.
