Comments:
This session started out as an experiment in S&P to see if I could do
100/hr. Unfortunately, the answer was a resounding NO. Starting on 20 meters, I
had the usual trouble getting through the piles due to my poor 20 meter antenna.
At about 25 minutes in, the rate had dropped way off so it was time to QSY to
40. S&P rates were considerably better on 40, but it was sometimes tough
going due to the considerable number of running stations that seldom sent their
call. At about 45 minutes in I gave up and found a run frequency to finish out.
Just managed to break the 100 QSO barrier thanks to the run. Conditions on both
40 and 20 were good. See everyone at 0300Z.
