Comments:
My 80 meter antenna came down with a tree in our early Jan snowstorm. I managed
to get it back in the air under very cold and windy conditions just around the
Contest starting time. Had to raise it twice, as I found there was damage to the
balun. Glad I got it installed, as 80 meters was my top Band for QSOs and Mults,
tied with 40 meters. 160m was great and the loop-on-ground antenna really helps
with noise reduction.
I always enjoy the NAQP Contests and this one was fun. Good Band conditions,
non-stop activity and a couple of great Runs on 160m.
Thanks for the QSOS, and especially for the Spots
