Comments:
SSB/CW, no FT8... what a snoozefest: many hours of 2-band CQing, plus lots of
looking and listening, for very few QSOs. One decent (though short-lived) e-skip
opening to the south/west on Saturday afternoon, but not many stations to work.
Sunday was devoid of any enhanced propagation, at least during the hours I was
in the chair.
Bad local QRN on Saturday was less bad on Sunday, and pretty quiet by the end.
Perhaps the ARRL should consider a modification to the structure of these
contests - either modes, entry classes, or a separation/addition of operating
events, as FT8 has basically rendered any/all of the other operating modes
relatively pointless in the context of this contest.
Now get off my lawn...
