Comments:
In this VHF contest the FM18 grid was virtually left out in the cold.
Mid-Atlantic amateurs worked each other and little else. As a result there few
different signals to call. I spent over 8 hours and landed only 61 QSOs. My one
"DX" catch was EL29 (SE Texas).
And as usual, CW and SSB signals were in short supply. I worked five at the
starting gun but never heard another after that. The rest were all FT8.
My station is an IC-7410 at 100 watts into a 3-element Cushcraft 6m Yagi on a
25' telescoping mast. My QTH is on a 110' hill.
