Comments:

The Inverted L I use for 160m is not really competitive, so I reviewed last
year's effort and decided to target 1000 QSOs while seeing if I could work some
interesting DX. Condx seemed to be mediocre at best and on top of that, there
was a persistent line of thunderstorms from the Caribbean up to Bermuda. As a
consequence, I decided to forget about DX and work as many states/provinces as
possible instead. Missed LB, MB, NT, YT and NU - was anybody up there this time?
I stayed on the air till the sun was up Sa morning, but never heard anything
exciting during grayline either. Day 1 yielded 700 QSOs.
Day 2 was more quiet and I was able to hear more Europeans, but most times they
kept CQing in my face - meh. Called it quits after the European sunrise had
come, choosing a good nights sleep over another three hours or so to rake in
those missing 50 QSOs.

Interesting observation: I used the Exchanges database for the first time and
noticed several mismatches, so it seems that there are more and more ops who use
remote stations these days. Seems to be getting more and more solid.

Next stop: ARRL DX - CU then!
