First night couldn't hold a run frequency, every time I would get a decent run
started someone would pop up and call CQ right on top of me.
I really do not understand why almost everyone starts calling CQ without asking
QRL? I always ask QRL when on a new Freq. If someone says QRL, I move.
N1MM automatically asks QRL when starting to CQ, why doesn't everyone use it?
This supposed to be "The Gentleman's Band" but even being told QRL
several times
most of these guys just blast away.
Normally the first night is the best as far as QSO numbers and mults, but I
worked only a few EU stations the first night.
I must have changed Freq a zillion times.
The second night I held a good run Freq for seven hours! What a difference!
Phillip KP2M and I had a good natured competition going, he was ahead of me the
first night by a HUGE margin but I managed to catch up the second night.
