Just hooked the Flex PGXL back up. It has been broken since November and I was
too scared to use it so went low power. Mr. C won this week. Both my XYL and I
got COVID. I went to the retirement community and had to administer a COVID
test to my 97 year old father who was coughing so that the nurse could listen to
his breathing. COVID +, and I followed a day or so later. Then my wife. My
symptoms were so similar to my daily reaction to immunotherapy meds that I could
not tell.
Most guys were 579 and there were few 809 meter spots, but I could hear all over
the USA. Glad to have AB7MP in the log! After 10 minutes had 25 QSOs, then 2
minutes without a contact, and few signals on the band so went to 40. I was
surprised at the good rate, but coverage was nice, but never were multiple guys
calling. KY4ID is a newbie and glad to have him. N6KN had a big signal.
