Comments:

I chose to operate single band 15, which turned out badly, because a new local
noise source popped up on Saturday morning, and essentially blew me out of the
contest. I thought it was yet another solar rooftop nearby, but now I find that
it is present 24 hours per day. It's S5-S7 from 21018 - 21058, and has a pretty
unusual pattern on the panadapter. It's definitely a consumer device, not power
line noise. I haven't even checked the other bands yet.

Friday night was two hours of fun to the Pacific though. I was called several
times by AA0JF, who I ignored at first but decided to work him to make him go
away. He gave me the standard DX exchange with power level, so I asked QTH? He
answered Oman! We'll see about that one.
