Comments:
all I can say is that all my frustration went away when I finally figured out -
very late - that everything works much better when your antenna is hooked to
your transceiver. I got a very late start anyway, and nothing worked for about
15 minutes after I sat down until I realized that I had unhooked the feed line
to the antenna to facilitate some yard work that I have been doing for the last
several days. Hmmmm. I think I will take up tiddly winks, since it is pretty
apparent that if there are no tiddly winks on the table, you cant play. When a
feed line is not hooked up at the antenna and you don't remember you unhooked
it, seeing coax running from the transceiver to the wall isn't enough to make a
signal hit the ether.
