Comments:

There is a glitch in N1MM+ operating time calculation; it thinks the QP ends at
19Z! Op time approximate, much less than N6MU who made yet another sweep (this
time CW only), congrats John! Saturday activity was okay dominated by the
mobiles, but still worth searching out the fixed ops. I never heard K5CM or N5KW
on SSB, a bit surprised, but thanks for all of the CW Q's. That was the biggest
reason for my 3 CW to 1 SSB QSO ratio. Thanks to Bob, W0BH and Lorna, K0WHY for
many QSO's/mults on both modes! 20 stayed open all day Saturday until at least
0115Z (sunset about 2310Z) and 15 was open 3+ hours I would guess, but few tried
15. Sunday condx were definitely affected by a solar storm, but signals were
still fine on 20. However, both 40 and 15 were pretty much closed from here to
OK all day with one late 2046Z QSO with KK6MC/M who had a good signal. This made
for a very slow Sunday with only 49 new QSO's (many multiple from BH/WHY or the
others on a line). KK6MC/M went to many counties where no one else was active,
many thanks! His mobile antenna appears to be a monster, great signal here.
Thanks to WW5X/M for several county line QSO's as well. The operating period
runs long on day 2 considering that most all of the fixed stations were already
worked day 1 during the 11 hour session.

Thanks to all for the Q's. I'm not sure I can be patient enough Sunday next year
to put in a big effort if only 20 is open.

73, Jeff
