Comments:

Very much missing our friends from Ukraine. We wish for Peace, soon.

As is usually the case, 40m was very crowded and noisy with many overlapping
signals from the start of the contest until I went to sleep at 0430z. I was only
able to get a few short runs on 80m but I finished the night with over 200 QSOs
and was feeling pretty optomistic that I was going to reach my goal of 1,000
QSOs and 1mm points. Accomplished both, nearly doubling my previous best score
in this contest (well, we'll see how I make out after log checking, I'm sure I
busted a lot of calls).

15m was wall to wall all day Saturday and again into Sunday afternoon. It
looked and acted more like 20m than 20m was over the weekend. (20m was strangley
quiet). So many overlapping signals on 15m, very hard to find a run frequency,
and many times i could hear 2-3 people calling CQ, even with very narrow receive
filter.

Late sunday afternoon things changed. Partly because a lot of EU went to sleep
by then, but also conditions improved after the KP Index quieted down. There was
a lot of auroral flutter Saturday night, which seemed to have cleared up by late
Sunday afternoon.

40m was actually delightful for several hours toward the end of the contest.
About 2h before sundown people were spaced evenly apart on the low side of 40m,
you could actually see a bit of quiet spectrum between six domestic stations
calling CQ. Closer to sundown it started to get very crowded and overlappy, but
I was able to hold the run frequency I had been on, which had no adjacent
signals or splatter and yieled more then 200 QSOs in a 90 minute period right up
to the end of the contest, with many Canadian stations and a few European
stations calling in to help rack up some points.

Thanks to everyone for the QSOs.

Operating station for this contest:
Icom 7610 with Elecraft KPA1500 amp.
     80m, 40m antenna: G5RV 102' dipole @ 50'
     20m, 15m, 10m antenna: SteppIR Urbanbeam at 35'
