Thunder 30 minutes before the start. 60 - 70 mph winds forecast. It wasn't so
bad, a few branches down and a bit of work with the chainsaw will take care of
things.
It was a precision morning. I got on for 10 minutes, then drove to town, picked
up Dad, and got him to the doctor by 9am. He's 97 and needs help and
interpretation. The local hospital system is wrecked. It took an hour on hold
to set up the appointment. It literally is faster to drive to the office and
have the receptionist make an appointment or leave a note for the nurse instead
of waiting on hold with the call center. This is what I had to do after the
appointment to update the doctor!
Conditions seemed pretty good and the rate was nice. Too bad I couldn't stay
for the whole session.
