Comments:

Up Skirt Mtn again (over Langford, west of Victoria, BC.) Looks like nearby
residential development continues apace so I'll use this site until I can't.
Great, expansive, panoramic view NNE through E, to SSW. Takes in much of the
centre of the "Salish Sea", or in bits -- the approaches to Victoria's
harbour, Eastern end of Strait of Juan de Fuca, north part of Puget Sound.

FM only, with the dutiful yet wretched 1/4 wave mag mount antenna and 20 W from
an Alinco DR-235. At least I'd begun to drill holes in the wood for the boom of
a 4 el "Square" 222 MHz antenna. Design by Rick KK7B.

Naturally just a couple of days later and it's nearly done but for the feedpoint
connector and fixing the elements solidly in place. Then it'll be checking over
the Transverter-Store 28/222 unit.

Took time in between contacts for our local 6 m session, then jumped on to the
tail end of one of the the Puget Snd. 144 MHz weekly nets, and back to 222.

Thanks to all.
