IC-705 / 43' Vertical
That was an experience. First time using my new call. Had to use my IC-705 due
to K3 has bad I/O board. The turnaround time from transmit to receive is much
slower causing a missed first character in responding callers. I went to
S&P after the first 1/2 hour. Filters not as good so QRM was a bit worse
also. All in all the 705 wasn't that bad for a totally non-contest radio.
Hopefully will get antennas fixed by June which will help a lot. I need a new
KIO3 board for the K3. Still fun.
