Comments:
Pretty mediocre results for this session. As we get closer to summer, 40 meter
conditions continue to deteriorate. Many signals were pretty weak and none were
heard from W6 and W7 land. Even the usually strong W5 stations were puny. Ran
for the first 35 minutes or so on 40, but after the initial surge the rate just
wasn't there. A QSY to 20 for a run was somewhat successful, but as usual my
substandard 20 meter antenna made it difficult to get really good results. Spent
the last 10 minutes or so back on 40 S&P. Looks like a stronger effort on 20
will be required in the next few months. See everyone at 1900Z.
