Comments:
100 W, dipoles up 5-10 m, keyed on a Vibroplex bug.
The higher bands seemed to be in fairly good shape, with 15 m having good
signals even at 2300 local. My 80/160 m dipole was taken down in early April,
and I couldn't justify the work of putting it up solo just for the
contest---especially with so many storms in the forecast to keep the static
crashes high.
Runs generally weren't much more productive than 3-5 contacts when the skimmers
spotted me, then a long wait with 0-1 contacts before the next skimmer spot came
out. Run:search-and-pounce ratio is about 2:1, which is quite high for me,
though obviously I thought it should have been higher. Plenty of good signals
on the bands, and relatively few alligators (not that I heard much DX beyond the
big guns).
