Comments:

This was my first exposure to WSJT-X; before this contest I had a total of THREE
weak signal contacts. After several hours in the chair with an additional 250
Qs in the log, I can say with experience I don’t really care for it. I felt
like I was driving a piece of software, and not always in full control of where
the software was taking me.

Maybe because I’m so new to FT-contesting but I found this contest very
confusing in that too many stations operating in what I understood to be “the
contest region” and were not using contest setup. This resulted in a lot of
broken contacts with folks not providing their Grid Square. Or simply not
completing the entire exchange. I have no idea how many busted calls I
generated on the other end, but I did generate a lot of dupes in my log.
Switching between contest and normal FT operation just became too complicated.
In the end, I just stayed in contest mode and RAN or did S&P.

Thx for the Qs!
