A few weeks before the WPX CW contest, the URE's HF committee, in order to
promote participation in international contests to URE members with modest
installations and diverse operating profiles in the multi-multi CW modality,
considered that the multi-multi distributed category was a great opportunity to
do so. Some members interested in participating in a pilot experience emerged.
They were URE members from EA and EA6, which forced them to prepare two teams,
one for each of the DXCC entities, EA4URE and EA6URL have been the used
callsigns. The experience has been very satisfactory. For EA6URL the URE members
that formed the team were EA6UP and EA6AMY. For EA4URE URE members that formed
the team were EA2J, EA2KV, EA3CV, EA7Q and EC3A. Thank you for the support
provided from the HF committee (CT1DRB, EB1TR, EB4Z and EC3A) and the help of
EA3AIR.
