Comments:
Contest period started with only local stations. Eventually the band opened
primarily to the North East, but also a few in the far West. Second day, we had
good propagation to most of the country beyond about 500 miles and also to
eastern Canada and Sask. Great thrill was working GM0GAV for a new DXCC on 6M.
Also worked six all time new grid squares in North America. Amp isn't working,
so was low power with the TS590SG. The beam is stuck pointing west. Most of
the QSOs were made using an 88' center fed zepp. Even to the west, the zepp
seemed better because it wasn't picking up so much local noise. Thanks for all
