Today I tried a QRP radio. It was very different from my usual CWT experience.
So:
-- No N1MM+
-- No call history
-- No spectrum scope, band map, or spots
-- No keyboard shortcuts
-- No ability to change bands
-- My same usual marginal antenna
-- 5 W instead of 100
and surprisingly, it was a lot harder!
The first half hour was basically a wash, but it was easier in the second half
hour.
