Ten-Tec Jupiter at 5W. 2-element mini-beam at 25ft, 40m dipole at 60ft, 80m
dipole at 50ft. Used SD by EI5DI for logging - computer and radio not yet
interfaced.
I started up the band on 20 and had 10 Qs in the 1st 10 minutes...I thought, Oh
Boy! Then I hit the QRM and competing callers...0 Qs for the next 4 minutes. One
of these days I'm gonna keep that 1 Q per minute rate...one of these days.
Pretty decent conditions on 20 with some QSB. 40 was noisy but workable...my
rate on 40 was considerably better than my overall rate on 20. This practice is
helping...a lot.
