Turned to 80m around 10 PM local only to find my waterfall saturated in red with
Summer QRN. As I was only able to copy a few brave soul’s signals reaching
over the top of the flames, I wondered, where did I put those parts to build a
LOG? Other than 80m, the contest was great fun with plenty of W. coast stations
coming into the Midwest on 20m well after dark.
