K3/100, Acom 1000 and 5 element Yagi antenna hanging in a tree
Pretty bad conditions. I expected better after the great conditions in the ARRL
June VHF contest. Had a good run to the east coast the first 1 1/2 hours on
CW/SSB and that was about it for the rest of the contest. A few sporadic
openings that signals were loud enough to work CW/SSB after that but for the
most part my QSO's from that point on were on FT8.
