>From out here in the Pacific, this August version of NAQP is a primarily a high
band contest though I guess the same could be said for the January event as
well.
15M was smoking. It was nice to see a moderate amount of activity on 10M. I
think 10M was in better shape than people thought.
The sun set here today at 0454Z. 40M was OK. 80M was poor. I could hear plenty
of stations on 80M, but they could not hear me. No surprise given mainland
thunderstorms and only 100W. With 80M so bad, I did not even bother to listen on
160M.
Still, this contest was a ton of fun.
