At new QTH, I no longer have a tower and beams after almost 40 years. It's
quite
humbling to operate now with wires and ground-mounted antennas. But, I found it
to be quite the challenge and loads of fun. Domestic contests have me somewhat
competitive, however, DX contests not very much.
