Comments:
A few minutes late, I started running on 20 meters, had a good run with 5-6
callers and then nothing. I got bored, so I wandered around to see how
conditions were. I couldn't find a suitable spot to run (but worked a few
regulars); I changed to 40 meters, found a quiet spot, asked QRL? but the
response was yes (and he was also doing SST). I thought "good" but
soon found that (again) nobody was answering my CQs once I found a frequency. I
found a friend running in the SST who also wasn't getting many callers (and also
had little luck on 20), so we ended up having a ragchew instead. Eventually,
everyone from 20 moved to 40 meters and we had people surrounding our QSO...
I'll be running again on Sunday. I just wasn't having luck today, but I had fun.
