Antenna: 160 loaded vertical.
The balun on my vertical went out after the first 2 QSO's at the start despite
working fine for several hours up to the contest start. I had to spend an hour
troubleshooting, inserting a new one and doing the field repair in the near
dark, cold Minnesota evening. Perseverance pays off!
This contest convinces me that I need workable low band receive antennas - none
were installed this Fall due to schedule conflicts with work/weather.
