Comments:
100 W, dipole up 8 m, keyed on a Vibroplex bug.
Conditions were hit or miss, and it seemed like most of the time I wanted to
operate was more miss than hit. S5-S7 noise floor at home certainly didn't help
compared to the quiet rural location where I often operate.
It seemed like this weekend was also the Florida and California QSO Parties, at
least judging by how almost every station I could hear/work was in one of those
two (44 CA, 18 FL, 17 MN, 74 everywhere else combined). I did at least work a
few European stations, which was a nice variety.
