Comments:
Started on 40 using the 2 el SteppIR. That antenna, even after $4000 in repairs
is not a killer. I need to migrate away from it. I think three sloping dipoles
would be better.
Went to 80 at 03:38. It played well, but could use an omnidirectional mode.
When I trench in the feedline and control cable I will have to add another wire
to control omni, and change control box.
