This was the first RTTY contest I've ever entered and, I've been a Ham for 59
years. I had to learn the ropes as I went along and spent a lot of time just
trying to get the macros right in N1MM+ and, then using them in a productive
manner. Also, my Flex radio needed to be reconfigured for N1MM+'s RTTY mode
during the contest. It had been running really squirrely until it just finally
stopped transmitting. I watched some videos on setting up the rig properly for
RTTY operation and finally got it configured correctly and back on-line. It ran
great after that! I'm a CW op, so this was totally different from the way I run
contests! All in all, I had some fun with it and learned a lot!
