Comments:

One of our favorite contests. Our best M2 score so far, in spite of various
bumps in the road (literally and figuratively), due to ferocious storms that
damaged the 160 meter antenna, caused a 20m rotator to go rogue, crashed a
computer, and doled out lightning noise and rain static, especially only the low
bands.

The contest started with WD6T and N6WM remote. The first hour was hot on 10m
with 177 Qs (WD6T). At 1900z, the 15m rate peaked (N6WM) and the band continued
to produce until 0000z. 20m started with a mult chase at 2000z (WD6T) and then
was turned over to K6AW (remote) for the next few hours. NU6P (in person) took
40m which peaked in the 0200z hour and ultimately produced the highest mult and
Q total; while WD6T drove out to the station in time to bounce between 20m and
80m, with N6RO manning 160m. The new 80m rotatable dipole really showed its
true mettle (metal?) and produced a nice mult total on that band... until the
rain static clobbered it and we switched to the venerable wire 4-square. 160m
conditions were tough and the damaged antenna didn't help; mults were worked,
but fewer than previous years.

Congratulations to the ND7K team for a truly spectacular showing, and also to
the N7DX team, as well as that of NX6T and the high-scoring eastern M2s.
