Hey, it's a rare night that I break the 1K point mark - pop open the bubbly! 80
was more forgiving this week - could run 40 watts without killing the USB ports
instead of just 5 watts. 40 meters - whew, what a blast! Still left lots on the
table there. 20 meters qualified me for the WACA award - Worked All
CAlifornians! Never even listened on 160, and all this on my front yard 135 foot
doublet that was literally hanging within arms reach of the ground on Tuesday
after our crusty snowfall brought all the trees down.
Thanks to all the good ears out there, and congrats to all those 50+ Qs big
guns!
