Comments:
Set up on a picnic bench in the Tree People park above Studio City. KX3 running
5 watts, Begali paddle, hand sent/logged, 66' doublet on 30' push up mast.
Two of my QSOs are most likely busts. S*** happens. I heard many multipliers who
couldn't hear me or were QSYing.
A birthday dinner required my early QRT. A helicopter started circling and
making noise shortly before my quitting time. A vehicle went off the road on
Mulholland Drive, 100 feet down, and brought out the rescue teams.
I heard some jump balls that the ref would have whistled. A fill was requested
but was drowned out by the calling masses.
The Sprint is great fun, even when I'm three hundred times weaker. Thanks for
pulling out of the noise.
W6AQ; keeping Dave's memory alive.
72,
David N6AN
