Comments:
A change from the chaos of chasing Bouvet (no -- I didn't
get them), this was a nice, casual, and fun way to spend
the weekend. RTTY is a great (and gentlemanly) contest
mode. The seventh time I have participated, it was a
personal best (PB). I knew it was going to be good when
my first Q Friday night was a VK on 10.
I also had PB's on 15 & 10 and came close on 20 & 40.
I spent little time on 80. With so little time on 80 I
had no 5-banders. I did have six 4-banders: thanks
Randy and Ed Muns (our recent speaker) among others.
After beating my previous best around 5:30 Sunday night,
it was great just looking for new mults on 40m: at ~2500
points/Q the blood runs!
