Comments:
That was our 1st experience with M/2 at our modest setup build for SO2R. We
don't have any space for some sort of in-band antennas at our tiny one acre
property. But we have compensated that fact by using just two radios ))
The propagation was fantastic. EU pileups were endless 24/7. The first time at
our location we were running massive JA's pileups on 20, 15 and 10! Hundreds and
hundreds JA's were coming to our run frequency for a few hours at Saturday and
Sunday evenings.
We had a lot of fun, especially by using online scoring at
https://contestonlinescore.com/. Working in the contest with old friends from
our HAM radio youth at 80's was priceless! ))
Our working conditions:
2 x TS-590SG, Alpha 9500, Alpha 99
BPF's VA6AM (The best ever BPF sets)
Antenna switch box: Eight pack from Array Solution
Low band antennas:
160 21m Inverted L 21m high
80 19.5m T-vertical
40 2 phased verticals with DX-Engineering boxes
Tower 1:
40 2L Yagi (Delta 402) at 23m
20 2L Yagi LJ204) at 25m
15 4L Yagi fixed to EU at 21m
Tower 2:
3L SteppIR at 11m
Tower 3:
10 4L Yagi at 13m
Thanks for all the Q's!
