Comments:
Given the state of 160 lately, and my sub-optimum 160
antenna, I decided to only do the NAQP RTTY this weekend.
I started on 10 and worked my way up the waterfall. When I
got to the top of 10 I had a new "PB" (personal best for
this contest) on 10, so I dropped to 15 -- same result.
So I dropped to 20 -- same result. All three bands, once
through each, and a PB on each. Time for dinner.
After dinner I rotated between 40 & 80 until 10:35 pm when
I had an overall PB for the contest -- by one contact.
Time for bed and the 11 pm news.
A highlight: It was good to contact "The Old Man" himself:
Hiram on vacation in FL @ W1AW/4.
