The Statistics item under View menu in N1MM looks like it's very powerful. It
will change my entire strategy for my next 160m contest. I got 3/4 of my
contacts on Friday between about 7p and 12A local time. Then I slept on the
couch in the shack and got up every couple of hours or so until around 6A and
got another 60 contacts. I did that to see if there was anything interesting
happening at those hours, but there really wasn't. And that totally ruined my
interest in running the second night!
If I had just gone to bed even at midnight and slept the full night, and maybe
got up to run for an hour between 5 and 6a, I probably could have gotten more
contacts total if I was then able to work 6 hours or so the second night. I
might try starting a couple hours later the second night next year because when
I checked this year, I had already worked most of the guys that were on early.
