Comments:
It was a last minute (actually 3 days) decision to join the local Ops at HB0A.
Luckily arranging the lodging went smoothly.
It was nice to see that the solar flare one the day before the start of the
contest had no significant effects. Both days 10M was open to NA, Saturday much
better.
Our first goal was to beat the country record (1358Q's and or 571k).
Before 19Z on day1 we crossed the 571k score mark, and we crossed the 1358 Q's
mark in the following hour. We then set a stretched target, 2000QSO's. We had to
stretch that again :-) on day2 after 16Z to 2500. That seems a bit far fetched.
When we logged QSO number 2511 21:26Z on 20M and we called it a day with a score
of 1.7M points. All the QRM and splattering
At 13:08Z on day1 we logged our 1st 6-band QSO with K1LZ. The second one
followed only minutes later with K3LR.
