Comments:
Despite the cloggy 14/21 MHz bands, I probably made
one of my all time best scores, most likely due to
active calling (as most signals were at weak levels
especially on 14 MHz, especially Central/South Europe).
ARRL DX SSB was completely the reverse of last year's,
while 28 MHz did not open at all a year ago, and now
it was the only usable band (for a delayed starter
like me). The big dimmer was Aurora last year, and
likewise this year on the lower bands. Did run 4 x
SOSB, but only with one or two contacts below 28 MHz.
Despite the higher solar activity it seems in CWT, USA
signals are weaker on average than "in the old days"...
