After battling through S8-15 0ver S9 Saturday night for nearly 5 hours, I got up
Sunday morning to a much quieter band. Between 1200z and 1300z, the band opened
up and worked a number of western stations, including KH6AQ and KH7X and my best
160 DX ever, VK6GX (count 'em--51 points!). Also snagged AA7JV/mm on his
catarmaran expedition in CI23 for 21 points. For all the slogging Saturday,
Sunday a.m. made up for it. Thanks for the QSOs.
